Last week Latina blogueras from across the country descended on Washington DC and the White House for the first ever Latinos in Social Media Top Bloguera Retreat. Over 65 top bloggers were invited to the VIP retreat including leaders Ana Flores- @lbconnect (Latina Bloggers Connect), Yoly Mason – @yolymason (Las Blogueras), Jeannette Kaplun- @JeannetteKaplun (Blogs de mamás), and Angélica Pérez-@AngelicaMentor1 (New Latina). Justice for Anastasio #latism

In early 2012, Anastasio Hernández-Rojas was beaten and tasered by border patrol agents on the US Mexico border near San Diego, a beating that would lead to Anastasio’s death. Articles were written about the event, including one in the New York times, and standbyers recorded video of the event and posted them to YouTube. Then, nothing happened.
