Finding Your Soulmate on Twitter?

I’ll keep this short and simple.  Twitter (a microblogging site) has brought two young people together…virtually.  @helsinkiwinner and @nixjohnson need your financial assistance to bring them together IRL.

@helsinkiwinner is in Canada and @nixjohnson is in Texas, two separate worlds and at least three airport connections apart.

Eventhough they’ve only been communicating via tweets, emails, and occasional phone calls, they have managed to give birth to twins — a co-written blog and a shared email address.  Yeah, I know, a shared email address is like wearing matching reindeer sweaters throughout the holiday seasons.  But it shows their intention to be together.

This blog post explains their dilemma in their words.

So please, dig deep,  before they start placing Photoshopped pictures of each other together on their avatars.

Or, if you know someone who might want to help finance their travel expenses or lodging, then give them a holler and help make this love connection happen.

Did I mention that @helsinkiwinner works a summer job at a the Botanical Gardens.  She’s saving trees for goodness sake.  Think green and give green, or pass this on to someone who can help.

Have a request from them or questions before you fork over any dough?  Leave a comment.

    You’re certainly welcome!

Jesse, thank you so much for this. I’m going to go illegally download photoshop so that I can make pics of Rachel and I together at famous landmarks around the world.

  4. Jesse Luna says:

    That would be funny!

And Adobe has a free 30-day trial of Photoshop on their site, in case you wanna go legit.
