Congratulations to the Stanford Cardinal on their victory over the Wisconsin Badgers in the Rose Bowl, 20-14.
I really wanted to go see Stanford play in the Rose Bowl but I had other commitments that I had to put first. I ended up hanging out with family, enjoying tamales, reading Stanford Football tweets, and keeping an eye on the #FiscalCliff proceedings on C-SPAN.
The last time the Stanford Cardinal made it to the Rose Bowl, I was living in Denver and was exhausted from working on Y2K projects. OK, maybe I was also a bit apprehensive about getting on an airplane that day.
